i go for ichigo!

My very first encounter of Ichigo Shoes was on the pages of Cosmopolitan’s July ‘07 issue. I skipped to the shopping directory page and there I saw Ichigo’s website. Not minding the workload I had for the day I typed the URL and viola! heaven (for someone like me who loves bags and shoes). Ichigo, ooh don’t you just like pronouncing it over and over again? I-schi-go. :) Anyway, Ichigo has some new stuffs and I really like a lot of them. Just wanted to show you their amazing collection.

Gossip Girl is a Fashion Trove

My friend keep on repeatedly telling me “XOXO” every time she bids me goodbye in our ym conversations. I kept asking her what is all that “XOXO” for? I mean I know that it stands for “hugs and kisses” but why keep say it? And then she told me about this new series based on a book entitled, “Gossip Girl.”I began to watch the series and grew fond of it. But what really made me glued to the screen was their fashionable outfits. Seeing their clothes, shoes, and bags just made me want to be one of the Upper East Siders. Don’t believe me? I’ll show you some of my faves.

Serana and Blair

I just love their outfits, just check out their stockings. I love Blair’s red stockings and how she pulled it of. Love Serena’s pumps though.

More than a flair for Fashion

So I have been pretty caught up in my busy world lately that I neglected my oh so fashion blog. But I’m here now. No, not really updating you on the latest wardrobe for this season but for something that you might find interesting. I don’t know about you but aside from window shopping, browsing through fashion magazines, and surfing what’s new online, I happen to be really fond of answering personality tests. It’s fun once you see the results and say, “Oh my! That is ssooo me!!” So here, I found something interesting, far from fashion but close to being a blogger. I get to see what type of blogger I am.

Your Blogging Type Is the Private Performer

Your blog is your stage - with your visitors your adoring fans.
At least, that’s how you write with your witty one liners.
And while you like attention, you value your privacy.
You’re likely to have an anonymous blog - or turn off comments.

What’s Your Blogging Personality?

Try it yourself. :)

Casual wear? So What?

Who says casual office wear should be so boring? Yes, rummaging through my mess called closet at 7 a.m. in the morning is not exactly a great morning ritual especially if you have to get to work by 8 a.m. But looks like others can manage and not get any fashion faux pas in a workplace where Corporate wear doesn’t apply. Casual yes, but nobody said anything about being not stylish or trendy, now did they? Well, if they did, these people didn’t get the memo.

First, a unique hairstyle only this guy can pull off. Wait until you see his outfit here!

Anagon Invasion

“Those mini skirts, that slinky dress, your skinny jeans. Gain ten pounds and they betray you in a heart beat. The cows. But your accessories…They don’t care if you gain 20 pounds, they’ll hang there with you. They will always make you feel better about yourself.”♥-Nina Garcia, The Little Black Book of Style

This quotation would be the first thing you would read when viewing the latest earrings, necklaces, bangles and other accessories in Anagon Collection. It is true, your accessories will never fail you. Your hottest top may shrink or wear out but your accessories will always be there. Your little black dress will no longer be JUST a little black dress if you got the right accessories to match it. Same goes with that white shirt. Ana Gonzales, or Anagon as she is most commonly called, makes unique accessories that complete any outfit. Anagon Collection varies from plastic beats, wire art, and unique charms. In her new sets of accessories new materials like safety pins and wooden beads are incorporated. Here are some of the things I liked in her latest collection.

I like the simplicity of this aqua blue necklace. I think it would go best on a white shirt.

Vibrant hue for Spring

Winter colors are out and Spring colors are here. Tis the season where flowers bloom, tress get their green colors, and fashionistas all around celebrate it by putting more color on their wardrobe. I found this green Kate Spade nylon tote that just screams SPRING!!!!! This tote is said to be part of Kate Spade’s popular Clinton street handbags, which was “named after a street on manhattan’s lower east side, where cozy boutiques and eateries sit alongside colorful mexican bodegas, clinton street has become a symbol of new york’s vital mix of ethnic and creative influences.” I just love it! Simply love bags!!!!! Maybe I can get my boyfriend to get me one. :)

Show some skin the classy way

Projecting your sexy and alluring image can be done in different ways. Some like walking on those high stilletos, while some want to bare some skin. Outfits with spaghetti straps are very popular that almost every clothing line has an outfit bearing such straps. For a great alternative, you can try those one shoulder clothes. These can let you show your flirty and fun side by bearing some skin but still leaving some of it covered for others’ imagination. Here are some of the outfits I came across

This is a one shoulder denim mini dress from 7 For All Mankind. Great for an afternoon stroll in the park. I think this is very “Sex and the City” kind of dress. Probably something what Carrie Bradshaw would wear.

Successful trip to the salon

After inquiring in different salons, I was able to choose one and the stylist did not disappoint me. The result.. Viola! A simple yet stylish look.

100_1677.jpg

My hairstyle also depicted the one that I chose. I was so happy that night that I wanted didn’t want the night to end. I was really satisfied with the outcome. My version of he hairstyle is even better than what I envisioned it to be. What also made it so dazzling is my hair accessory. It really pulled the entire look.

Shoes shoes shoes..

I have always been more fond of handbags than shoes, but as I was looking for the perfect hairstyle for Saturday night I came across with some of these shoes by Christian Louboutin, Ninewest, rsvp and Cesare Paciotti.

Christian Louboutin Anemone Stilleto pumpsThis Anemone stilleto pumps by Christian Louboutin are very festive and might do well for the holiday season, but I’m not so sure how good it will do on the streets, with a lot going on its back. This might be a little too much, but you have to admit it looks good.

Cesare PaciottiThis Cesare Paciotti shoes says Christmas! Maybe Christmas wrapper. With that bow and red insole, it really looks like a Christmas present, but again, it caught my attention. You’ll really stand from he crowd with this pair.

Polka dot Kate SpadeI just think these two are cute. I simply like the polka dot one. I have always had a fascination with anRed Kate Spade ultimate red shoes, but never really bought one for myself. Maybe if I get an ultimate red purse to go with it.. Both are from Kate Spade.

This one is simply hot! I like the color and the height of this Reesa shoes by rsvp. When I saw this, the first thought that

came into my mind was clubbing. A great girls night out shoes but I don’t think I can last the whole night with

these on though. Oh well, if it looks goo on your feet, wear it even if it hurts!

The search for a great evening hairstyle

I will be attending a party soon, I already have a little black dress and a glamorous shawl to pair it with. I also got the shoes and the purse, but my main concern was my hairstyle. I’m thinking of glam but not too formal. I was initially considering curls, but I found out that most of the party-goers will be curling their hairs. So, I searched for some hairstyles and these are my options.

Option One: Simply says, glamorous. I like its neat and kept and it is stunning and will look well on my black dress.

Option Two: Eva Mendes’ look also looks good and it can work both for the evening party and the after party. Its glam features is soften by the unkept updo, which also somehow says that I’m not trying too hard to look great.

Option Three: This hairstyle reminds me of fairy tales. Since I have long hair, the stylist will be able to incorporate this on my tress. The downside is it kinda looks complicated at the back, but I like its feminine effect.

Option Four: This is actually a very simple one and might not need any professional help, but to make sure I get the look right I might go to a salon. I like its simplicity and femininity. It also has not too much going on so it won’t overshadow my whole outfit. I may want to loosen up the twists on the front, to have a bit of relaxed feel to it.

After much deliberation, I may have to go with Option Four. It has an interesting design to it and yet simple enough not to make me look like I’m going to a grand ball. I may also incorporate some of my own hair accessories, just to spice it up a bit.
