Something old and something new
You read the title right! But I’m not talking about a wedding. I am actually talking about incorporating new fashion pieces with your wardrobe. It is also about a fusion of high-end fashion to bargain buys. I love bargains. But I also enjoy designer wear. It’s all about how you blend them.
I took some key pieces from my wardrobe and mixed them with some new stuffs. Very hot right now are colorful pieces. Colorful pants, bright cardigan, and even graphic tees. I showed you before that the matching different colors in one outfit is now acceptable and is a trend. But this time, I wanna show you how you can update your wardrobe just by buying some key pieces. Let me show you what I mean:

Here I am with my outfit. The green pants are kinda new, the gray blouse has been with me for months, oh and both are bargain finds. The shoes are from esprit and have been kept in my shoe rack for quite some time now. Meanwhile, my black, Chicago-ish, bead necklace is new, and a steal. I got it from Girl Shoppe for about 150 pesos! (I think
) The green purse is a gift, this was the first time I actually used it
Now here’s how I updated it:

That same day I got a new purple cardigan from Zara. It costs much I know, but you’ll know the quality once you feel the material and the color. So it’s a worthy investment. In fact, cardigans never go out of style. It’s one of those pieces that has always been there. It’s just in the matter of what type and how you wear it.
So go on, raid your closet! Look at what you got and see how you can incorporate them in today’s latest fashion. Why go out and buy a whole new outfit when you can save by just getting those key pieces and combine them with what you already have.
Till the next post, FC here.
