I became instantly hooked on Gossip Girl, not just because of all the drama, but also because of the fashion! Guys and girls would definitely find something stylish in the cast’s wardrobe. And FC won’t be left behind that’s for sure. One notable fashion trend that Gossip Girl started is the blairband. It is those signature hairbands of Blair Waldoof, played by Leighton Meester. Well, FC found the genius behind those stylish blairbands and that’s Jennifer Behr.

This Victorian crystal and silk satin headwrap has been seen on a Gossip Girl episode, entitled “Woman on the Verge”. According to Jennifer Behr, it is “an artfully arranged cluster of Swarovski crystals is reminiscent of a diamond-loaded antique brooch on a silk satin headwrap, finished at the back with elastic.”

 

This double rosette headwrap is great for casual wear or an accent piece in a formal event.

 

This one is from Jennifer Behr’s bridal collection. It is “hand-curled petals stitched on a skinny metallic leather headband and topped off with tiny swarovski crystal stars.”
